It is
difficult to underestimate the importance of motivation. To act, you need to be
awake, to have an intention, and the will to do.

It is at
the root of both intention and will; why do you want to act? What is your goal?
How much do you want it? Without motivation there is nothing.

Shouldn't
we carefully examine ours, put them in order and reinforce them?

And were
does motivation come from?

1)
Suffering. We want to avoid suffering or the possibility to suffer in the
future.

2) Greed.

3) Ambition.

4) Desire.

5) Will to
power.

6) Unease.

We know
that, but now, what are the enemies of motivation? Discouragement, fatalism,
laziness... and two more: Satisfaction and success.

We are well
aware of the danger of fatalism, laziness or discouragement, but maybe
satisfaction is the most vicious and the most dangerous. Why acting when
everything is OK?

Do not be
satisfied of what you get, keep looking upward! You must have better, beware of
satisfaction!
