"Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty."

I was looking at the forum and took a look at the grotto page and saw that the last post was over a year ago and that 95% of the post were people looking for grottoes. I know I am not initiated and have no idea of the inner workings of the cult. But we live in a very technology friendly age and you guys seem to have people at least interested in the cult all over the world.

A skype grotto seems to me like an easy way for all cultists to not have to be alone and get face time with the priests and maybe even master Satanis if he wishes to make an appearance. There is no price to use skype as long as everyone has skype. and even if someone does not have a web cam they will still be able to see everyone else and take part in the conversation. Just an idea for those who have the rank necessary to run a grotto. Unless this has already been done than my point is mute.

I ran a Grotto with a cult focus for nearly 3 years. The first year was good, the second year people seemed to be more inclined to forget what they learned in the first and by the third it diminished to a social club so I disbanded it. I tried raising a new one but it's too cerebral for most people, or they aren't into the hoakie occult stuffs that I am so it was pretty much futile to find people in my local area. I kept meeting people with a mild interest or they were just complete creeps.

I cant speak for other cultists, but I can tell you that I would be a dedicated loyal member to a grotto, I brought up the online grotto or site because I have a hard time retaining knowledge from reading I learn better and easier from seeing things be done. Where I live in south carolina there are a lot of die hard christians you cant walk into a store without someone asking if you a minute for jesus and my friends down here all come from christian families and go to church every sunday so when I bring up the cult, the old ones, or even H.P Lovecraft they just kinda go quiet so I am pretty much on my own down here.

I really do not see why someone would not be committed to a grotto that is suppose to help such one grow. It's like 'the church in the neighborhood' Instead of going to the headquarters. Grottos are suppose to help one in his/ her spiritual pursuit of fulfillment.
Grottos themselves have to be managed in such a form that it's members will be willing to 'run' to it for almost everything that has to do with upliftment. Yes, some members in a grotto might not be serious but it really does not make grotto less important. I am certainly for grottos as I have being saying for some time.

I am in the process of learning not using I in the right ways as there are many ways to cheat yourself by not using I in the wrong ways.

“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.” ― H.P. Lovecraft, The Call Of Cthulhu.
